Flavor Paper was started by a certain guy named Ted, on the Oregon coast. Seeing the uniqueness and striking designs of the wallpaper coverings, designers salvaged Ted's legacy, at that time when the designs and equipment were almost destroyed. Today, Flavor Paper continues to print, following Ted's traditional printing methods but with more accuracy and attention to detail. Flavor Paper is now currently located at the Bywater District of New Orleans and recently just opened their headquarters at Brooklyn New York which they call Flavor Lair.

The designs at Flavor Paper are very distinct, unique, vivid and most of all fun! An example is the Chinatown Toile which is the designer's impression of modern chinatown but patterned after the traditional french toile. Tweaking traditional patterns by giving it a contemporary twist by changing the subject matter or using funky bright colors is what makes Flavor Paper stand out.
